OUR HISTORY
Mwitumwa & Associates was established and registered as a Quantity Surveying practice in January 1978 in Zambia and has offered varied professional services in the construction industry.
The Botswana practice was established in January 1990 and was incorporated as Mwitumwa & Associates (Pty) Ltd. The Firm was first registered with the Central Tender Board of the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning of the Government of the Republic of Botswana in September 1991 in the field of Quantity Surveying and was re-registered with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board (PPADB) in March 2009. Mwitumwa & Associates (Botswana) was re-registered under section 4 of the Companies Reregistration Act on 28th June 2019. Since inception, both Practices have offered quantity surveying, cost planning, cost control services, specialist services in mediation & arbitration matters, & construction technical audits on various types of projects of varying scope to both private and public-sector clients.

Our services comprise complete quantity surveying and related services in connection with general building construction, and in civil engineering works related to infrastructure developments and electrical & mechanical engineering works. Areas of specialization comprise but are not limited to:

- Preparation of elemental cost plans during the detailed design stage and pricing works.
